On April 18, 2022, Lillie Mae Nixon, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, entered the presence of the Lord, at the age of 62.
Lillie was born April 12, 1960, in Birmingham, AL to Ollie and Alice Mae Nixon. Lillie confessed Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church; where she served as an usher, choir member, and pastoral aid member.
Lillie was a loving woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and friends.
Preceding her in death is her father, Ollie Nixon; three brothers, Jeffery Nixon, Edward Nixon, and Mack Nixon; one sister, Sharon Nixon Reese, and two grandchildren, Jasmine Nixon, and Adonis Nixon.
To cherish her memory are her five children; Tameka Thomas, Anita Nixon, Sharunn Nixon, Frederick Nixon, Carlos (Gabrielle) Nixon; special acquaintance, Freddie Anderson; eight sisters, Elouise Bates, Annie (Milton) Hardy, Jessica Hollev Hall, Dorothy (James) Barnett, Patricia Nixon, Pamela Nixon, Michelle Nixon, Monica Nixon and four brothers, LC Bates, Ollie (Thelma) Nixon, Richard Nixon, Anthonv (Patricia) Nixon, Larrv (Linda) Nixon; 18 grandchildren, and four great-grand, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends, and dear friends; Amev Carter, Marilvn Brown, and Kimberly Bates.
