Lindsey Lee Wright

Mr. Lindsey Lee Wright Sr. was the 3rd child born to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Goodson Wright on November 28,1933. He departed this earthly life on September 14,2022. At an early age he joined Locust Bluff Church, where he later moved his membership to Christ Temple Baptist Church in Markham, Illinois. At a later date he served as a Deacon at New Birth Full Gospel Church in Prattville, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his step-dad Joseph Durden, sister Clara Stoudemire, and brother Charles Wright. Lindsey attended Autauga County Training School, in Autaugaville, Ala. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary L. Rawlinson, February 2, 1953. To this union three children were born. Lindsey Wright Jr., Myrna Whiting, and Kimberly Stewart, who proceeded him in death. He worked at A & R Freight System in Chicago, Illinois for Twenty-Seven years. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of Sixty-nine years, Mary Wright, son Lindsey Wright Jr, Prattville, Ala, daughter Myrna (Audley) Whiting, Maricopa, Arizona. Sisters Josie Henderson, Ann (Eurn) Walker, All from Chicago, Illinois, Mary Brown Prattville AL, Nine Grandchildren Tenesa, Tristan (Cookie), JeLance (Jackie), Trenton (Davina), Ashley, Brodney, Amber, Corrie, Derrick, Eleven Grat Grandchildren Diamond, Javonta (Tae) Shaquille„ Tyreak, Chasity, Trenton Jr, Ariahanna, Aaliyah, Trevon, Caleb, and AuDarius. One Great Grandchild: Aydenand. Two step-grandchildren: Carla Morgan and Melanie Morgan. Lindsey also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends.
