Lottie Mae (Smith) Wilson

Lottie Mae Wilson, 91 years of age, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

While its' hard to say goodbye, were thankful that her life was filled with joy instead of pain, that each day brought happiness and not illness.  The way she touched our lives will always remain and her memories will continue to be shared throughout the years.  Her gifts of a passion for life, kindness, and unconditional love leave those left her on earth something to look forward to when seeing her again.  Lottie was born December 27, 1930, to Nord and Charlotte Smith in Joffre, AL.  She accepted Christ in her early years.  She attended Autauga County Training School.  She retired from Ft. McClellan Military Base in 1955.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, four brothers:  Jessie Smith, Nord Smith, Jr., Lorenzo Smith, and Albert Smith; and two sisters, Katherine Goodson, and Jessie Bell Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sisters: Irene McKenzie and Velma Bush of Anniston, AL, and one brother, Otis Smith of Mt. Morris, Michigan.

Three children:  Shirley Smith of Prattville, AL; Louis Wilson of Anniston, AL and Lois (Ronald) Hayes of Lansing, IL.  

Seven grandchildren:  Donald (Cathy) Smith, Pamela Goodson of Prattville, AL: Eric Wilson, Markeith Wilson of Anniston; Sophia Wilson of Arizona; Taleshia Wilson of Crete, IL; and Mataja (Ryne) Watkins of Matteson, IL.

Seven great grandchildren: Iesha Walton, Donald Smith, Denesha Drake, Darrell Goodson of Prattville, AL, Brixton Watkins of Matteson, IL, Cheyenne Wilson, and Adriana of Arizona.

Four great-greatgrandchildren: Kylen Smith, Kilee Golson, Kiliah Golson, and Grayson Clay of Prattville, AL.
