Marcus accepted Christ at 2 an early age at the New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Ira Lee Sims. He later joined the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where he served throughout his youth.
A time to die
Marcus departed this life Monday, November 16, 2020 at (UAB) University of Alabama Hospital at Birmingham.
A time to mourn
Marcus was preceded in death by his grandmothers Ethel Jo Taylor and Betty J. Davis.
Marcus will be missed but not Forgotten by his loving and devoted parents Darrell and Sharon Davis of Prattville, AL. A beautiful daughter Lauryn Simone Davis , Three siblings PSC Semetria (Greg) Collins of Washington, DC, Darylton Davis of Prattville, AL. Shamira Davis of Great Lakes, IL. A loving Fiance LaZana Allen of Prattville, AL.
Two Grandfathers : Johnny Lee Taylor of Montevallo, AL, and Johnny Lee Davis of Prattville, AL. Loving and devoted aunts: Felisa (Ray) Washington of Montevallo, AL, Cynthia (Anthony) Edwards of Calera, AL. and Maliaka Smith of Montgomery, AL. Four Devoted uncles: John Taylor of Montevallo, AL; Marvin (Gloria) Davis of Montgomery, AL; Gregory (Brenda) Davis of Prattville, AL, and Bishop Johnny (Martha) Davis of Prattville, AL. One loving nephew Grayson M. Collins. A Host of cousins that he loved dearly which includes: Tori, Deneshia (Antanio), Franklin (Kinyatta), Shaniqua (Lee), Andrian (Kevin), Gregory (Taye), Brandon, Naomi (Dave), Josh (Chelsea), Marterrius. A Special loved one Crystal Scott, Class of 2013 and many, many more.
