In Memory of our Beloved
Mrs. Margie N. Pearson was born to Mr. Moten Smith Jr, and Fannie Mae James-Smith on January 19, 1942 in Prattville, Alabama. Mrs. Margie N. Pearson received Christ at a very young age and was a devoted Christian that fellowshipped and became a member of a host of churches. Margie also attended Prattville public school. In her life time she attended Water Oak Grove Baptist Church, Miracle Deliverance Temple Church, she also was Member Mother of "Heart of God ministries" were she last attended Before God call her home.
Mrs. Margie N Pearson is preceded in death by her husband, Norman N. Pearson, one son, Ted K. Edwards, one daughter, Jacqueline D. Edwards, two brothers: Jesse L. Smith and John Smith, three grandchildren: Tyronda Edwards, Courtney Edwards, and Latoya Edwards.
Mrs. Margie N. Pearson leaves to cherish nine beautiful children: Donnell (Tonya) Edwards, Willie M. (Shirley) Edwards Jr., Mary L. Edwards, Corine E. (Danny) Lawyer, Katie M. Edwards, Frank J. (Audry) Edwards, Jesse Edwards, JoAnn Edwards and two living siblings: Ruby Hunter and Willie Smith, forty-eight grandchildren, sixty-eight great- grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren and also a devoted granddaughter, Charita B. Edwards. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Mrs. Margie N. Pearson was a pillar of her community. She was known as "GranniWanni," "Mamma Cookin," and Mamma Pearson the Candy Lady and a host of other affectionate names but the most important was "Mamma".
Mrs. Margie N. Pearson loved traveling, loved to dress fashionable, fellowshipping, laughing, dancing, cooking for her family, and most of all making her songs that she was blessed with by the Holy Spirit. She was a Sweetheart, devoted Christian and was loved by anyone that was blessed with her presence and her praise of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
