He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Duncan and Amanda Cook as well as three brothers: Alonzo Cook, John Otis Cook and Larry Cook; Sister: Iris Denise Cook. He was a member of Esthers of America.

Cherishing his memories are four brothers: Gerald Duncan of Michigan; Lamar Sanders, Tony Sanders of Millbrook, AL and Stanley (Latoya) Sanders of Travelers Rest, SC; Sisters: Vanessa (Albert) Smith, Coretta Sanders of Millbrook, AL and Starla Sanders of Deatsville, AL; Sister-in-law Patricia Cook of Huntsville, AL; Aunt Bernice Wise of Millbrook, AL and Uncle Floyd Duncan of Cleveland, OH; Three devoted friends; George Belser, Jeanetta Belser and Herbert Jordan; a host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and very close friends.
