Mary Julia Jackson was born September 13, 1942, in Elmore County, Alabama, to Martha and Lud Jackson. Growing up she attended the Elmore county school system. for many years she worked at the Wetumkpa Nursing Rehabilitation Facility, surrounded by many co-workers and friends.
Mary departed this life on October 19, 2021.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Marth and Lud Jackson, her sister Lucille Simpson, and her eldest son, Willie Jackson.
Mary leaves to cherish her memoriesSons; Larry Jackson and Reginald Jackson both of Millbrook, AL; Daughters: Sandra Smoke of Atlanta, GA, and Linda Smoke of Montgomery, AL; Sister: Bettye (Mathew) Lamb of Coosada, AL; twenty-five grandkids, forty-eight great grandkids, and fifteen great-great grandkids. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
