Mattie (Crum) Davis

Mattie C Davis was born on September 23, 1946 to the late Moses Crum and Carlena Smith-Crum of Prattville, Al. She was one of seven children born of this union. She attended the Autauga County Training School in Autaugaville, AL.

She attended and later joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where she accepted Christ as her personal savior. Upon her marriage to Retice Davis she joined Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Prattville, Alabama. She served as the church treasurer for seven years and was a member of LWML.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Retice "Bug" Davis; brother, Seamon Crum, sister, Mosetta Tyus, several in laws, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She leaves to cherish precious memories her five children, daughter Tracy R Davis of Prattville, AL, four sons Roderick (Phyllis) Davis of Prattville, AL. Moses (Phyllis) Davis of Montgomery, AL, Jason (Denise) Davis of Canton, OH, and Webster (Khadijah) Davis of Maplesville, AL; Two God- Children Latoya (Jerrod) Moorer of Montgomery, AL, Keshia (Michael) Burns of Calera, AL; sister Emma Sisson of Prattville, AL; three brothers James (Nila) Crum of Chicago, IL, Robert (Pearl) Crum of Chicago, IL, and Clemon (Carol) Crum of Detroit, MI; brother in-law Rev. Dr. Warren H (LaJewel) Davis of Pensacola, FL. She also leaves fifteen grandchildren, Taneka, Deidra , Renae , Roderick Jr, Phileya, Sydney, Mark, Matthew, Rachael, TylSean, Jamari, D Eries, Alonzo, Jason Jr, Retice "Bug Jr"; 19 Great- Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
