Mercedes Tunshea Long

Ms. Mercedes Long, a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend was born May 1, 1995 to Mr. Carl Donnell Sr. and Sandra Faye Long.

She is preceded in death by her brother: Tiren Ladell Long; grandfather: Cleve Franklin Sr, and Joe Lewis Long; grandmother: Maggie Lyvonne Long; and great-grandmother: Janie Pruitt.

Mercedes confessed Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Church of Elmore AL. She leaves to cherish her fond memories; her mother and father: Mr. Carl Donnell Sr. and Sandra Faye Long; four sisters: Tar'Sheka (Trent) Buycks (Millbrook, AL), Brittney (Joe) Jones (Millbrook, AL), Carla Long (Prattville, AL), and Janika Long (Prattville, AL), three brothers: Carlos Long,Sr. (Millbrook, AL), Cedric Long (Millbrook, AL), and Carl Long, Jr. (Crestview, FL), one grandmother: Emma Franklin (Coosada, AL), 8 Aunts and a special aunt/Godmother: Sallie (Douglas) Joyner (Winston Salem, NC), 7 uncles and a special uncle: Cleve Franklin Jr (Coosada, AL), 4 nieces and 7 nephews; a special niece: Journee Buycks; 3 special nephews: Messiah Buycks, Carlton Long, and Carlos Long Jr. A host of cousins and friends; one special cousin: Janae Joyner (Winston Salem, NC). Four Special best friends: Jeronica Crawford (Atlanta, GA), De'Von Long (Coosada, AL), Arie "Big A" Anderson Jr (Millbrook, AL), Tevin Singleton (Atlanta, GA) and AJ Wilson (Millbrook, AL).
