Minister Leon Houser was born January 16, 1943 in Autauga County to the late James and Mary Alice Houser. He was one of 13 siblings. He was a loving and devoted Minister of the Gospel, uncle, nephew and friend.
he received Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined the Father, Son, & Holy Ghost Church in 1998, where he was a devoted Minister and member of the Father Son & Holy Ghost Church. One of his greatest joys was praying every day. He also enjoyed worship service at the Father Son & Holy Ghost Church and loved to run down the center isle giving praise. Three of his favorite quotes when he preached was, " Is Everybody Happy"? "Well You Ought To Be," " Only the Strong Will Survive" and keep the faith until Jesus comes.
He was preceded in death by one brother James Williams Houser, Jr.; and seven sisters, Betty Mae Houser, Katie Ruth Hall, Katherine Williams, Julia Pearl Artis, Prevella Houser Love, Vera Prather, and Eartha Mae Harris; Five Brothers-in-law: Willie Hall, Sr. Terrell Williams, Sr. Frank Prather, Leon Harris, and Edwin Milliner.
He leaves to cherish his memories of two sisters, Deloris Milliner, Prattville, AL; Juliette Stinson, Birmingham, AL; three brothers, Wilbert (Billy Jean) Hall, Birmingham, AL; Henry (Mary) Hall, Montgomery, AL; and Herman Wyatt, Prattville, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and brothers in Christ.
