Monteen E (Davis) Stoudemire

On May 30, 2022, at the golden age of 78, Monteen Elizabeth grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, entered the presence of the Lord

Monteen was the first born daughter of Elizabeth Bishop Davis and the deceased Felton McClain Davis, Sr. She was born on January 29, 1944in Autauga County, Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her husband Anderson Stoudemire Sr., her father, Felton M. Davis, Sr., her two brothers, Felton M. Davis Jr. and Robert Earl Davis, her maternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Edith Bishop, her paternal grandparents, Tony and Hattie Davis, and her great-great grandson Adonis Livingston.

Monteen confessed to Christ at an early age and united with First Missionary Baptist Church of Autaugaville. She faithfully served as an usher and was a member of the Eastern Stars.

Her precious memories will be cherished by her seven children; Felicia Woods of Mobile, Alabama, Donald Livingston Jr. (Henrietta), Ruthie Medlock, Anderson Stoudemire Jr. (Sherri) all of Autaugaville, Stephanie Stoudemire of Atlanta, Georgia, Shanteal Hicks of Montgomery, Alabama, and Willera Jones of Millbrook, Alabama, Her siblings; Deloris Davis, Shirley Willis, Juliette (Gill) Smith, Hattie Albright, Margaret (Jeffrey) Seabon, all of Autaugaville, Alabama, Edith Clemons of Montgomery, Alabama, Jacqueline (Fred) Keith of Prattville, Alabama, Floyd Davis (Vivian) of Selma Alabama and Vincent Scott Davis (Linda) of Autaugaville Alabama, Betty Thomas of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Sisters-in-Law; Barbara Broadnax (Charlie) of Prattville, Alabama and Elizabeth Davis of Autaugaville, Alabama; Brother-in-Laws; Walter Stoudemire (Geraldine) of Autaugaville, Alabama; Twenty-one grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends, Jacqueline Keith and Delois Davis.
