left to cherish his memory is his wife, Lavern Lucas, and his nine daughters, Paulette (Audrey) Long of Birmingham, Alabama, Cheryl (Jonathan) Weston of Birmingham, Alabama, Latoya Johnson of Montgomery, Alabama, Tasha Russell of Warren, Ohio, Stephanie Russell of Warren, Ohio, Barbara Reese Zeigler of Decatur, Alabama, Jenifer (Michael) Spann of Millbrook, Alabama, Latonya (Diclier) Bassia of Fayetteville, Georgia. One daughter preceded in death Rontia Russell. One son; Morris (Veronica) Lucas, jr. of Jemison, Alabama. Nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Four brothers: Raymond Lucas, Milton (Cynthia) Lucas, Jim (Gwen) Lucas, and Charlie Lucas, Sr. all of Prattville, Alabama.  Eight Sister; PollySue O’Neal of Prattville, Alabama, Betteye (Preston) Motley of Prattville, Alabama. Patricia Powell of Millbrook, Alabama, Dorothy Robinson of Millbrook, Alabama, Mary (Lorenzo) Deramus of Prattville, Alabama, Juanita Lucas Deramus of Prattville, Alabama, Beatrica Lucas of Prattville, Alabama, Josephine Elliot of Prattville, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
