Mrs. Lucille Tyus Broadnax

Mrs. Lucille Tyus Broadnax a resident of Autaugaville, AL made her transiition to eternal rest on Wednesday August 19, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 29, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Greater Mallard Chapel A.M.E. Church, Autaugaville, AL with Rev. Isiah Perry Officianting. burial to follow in Church yard cemetery.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral services.

Visitation will be held on Friday August 28, 2015 at Davis Funeral Home, Prattville, AL from 11:a.m. till 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Lucille Tyus Broadnax was born August 2, 1939 to the late Willie and Hattie Tyus in Autaugaville, AL. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mallard CHapel A.M.E. Church where she  served faithfully until her health began to fail.

She was preded in death by her parents; Sons: Tommie Tyus and Christopher Broadnax: Sister: Hattie Dennis: Brothers: David Hatcher, Henry Howard, Daniel Howard, SIm (Dorothy) Tyus, Jimmie Tyus and Johnny (Ruthie )Tyus.

Chershing her legacy , memories, and hard work her CHildren: Henry (Roberta) Broadnax of Prattville, AL; Jackie  (Joe) Saxton of Tuscaloosa, AL; GailDebardelaben of Russville, AR; Aron (Angela) Broadnax of Russville, AR; Lois (Alexander) Wheston of Autaugaville, AL; ALphonso Tyus of Clanton, AL; Mildred (Lawrence) Lee of Montgomery, AL; Brother: Rich (Diane) Tyus of Selma, AL; Sister: Srah (Earnest) Nixon of AUtaugaville, AL and Louise Howard of Gary, ID; sixteen grandchildren, seventeen greatgrands and a host of neices, nephews, relatives and many friends. SPecial thanks to Nephew Jimmy Tyus and Neice: Brenda Tyus.
