Orlando Troman Wise was born on Father’s Day, June 16, 1968, in Millbrook, Alabama, to parents Willie G. Wise and Bernice Wise. Affectionately known as “Mannie” by his family and close friends. He loved grilling, spending time outdoors and entertaining loved ones in his backyard.
Troman accepted Christ at an early age and joined Goodship Missionary Baptist Church, where he faithfully attended for many years. He graduated from Stanhope Elmore High School in 1986. He had a strong work ethic that was reflected in his long-term employment with Elmore Sand & Gravel, where he served as a supervisor for more than 15 years.
Troman was preceded in death by his father, Willie Wise, and his sister, Mary Louise. He is survived by his loving wife, Deidre; his daughter, Deandrea; his son, Xavier; and his grandson, Ethan. He also leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Bernice; his eight siblings: Carolyn Brown, Lois Wise, Brenda Perry (David), Bonita Washington (Tyrone), Anthony Wise (Judy), Alicia Wise, Lew Wise, and Tracy Sutters (Craig). In addition, he is mourned by his two aunts, Fannie Mae Williams and Lucille Wise; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
