Born in Mobile, Alabama on June 13, 1965, Pamela Lynn Mayham-Fearson passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at a hospital in Fayetteville, Georgia. She was the cherished daughter of Mobile, Alabama residents Lugene Mahan and the late Annie Pearl Chapman-Mahan. Pam had a strong belief in the effectiveness of prayer. While attending college in Montgomery, Alabama, she rededicated her life to Christ after having accepted him into her life at a young age.
She graduated from Vigor High School in Mobile Alabama in 1984 and after that she attended Alabama State University in Montgomery Alabama to pursue a career in Education. She wanted to become an Elementary Education teacher. But later decided to move to Atlanta Ga to further her career in the business arena. She and James combined their skills and branched out and opened and found success in multiple business endeavors.
Pamela was affectionately known as Pam to everyone. Some even called her by the name “Mayham”. She was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her kindness and warm smile. She loved to be around her family and attend family gatherings. Her sister Vanessa recalls how Pam had a heart of Gold making everyone laughs and telling endless jokes. Her unwavering commitment was to spread love and kindness to everyone she encountered leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.
Later in life Pam met and married the love of her life, James A. Fearson of Atlanta, GA and birthed another love of her life a baby boy that named James Blake Fearson. She loved her son Blake to the moon and back and always made sure that he was dressed like a super star because he was super important to her.
