Ms. Penelope Briskey began her life's journey on March 27, 1959, born to the late Mn John Nixon and the late Pinky Briskey in Anniston, Alabama.
She confessed Christ as her lord and personal savior at an early age and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Prattville, AL.
She attended and graduated from Autauga High School. She joined the United States Army upon graduation becoming an Administration Specialist. She also worked at Anniston Army Depot as a clerk in shops division for numerous years; Later, obtaining an associate degree in Office Administration from Gadsden Business College.
She also was a Substitute teacher for over 10 years having the opportunity to influence so many young lives. She worked for the United States Postal Service for several years (Before becoming a full-time grandmother) "Nana"
She departed this life peacefully On May 29, 2022, at her home in Prattville Alabama. Her passing is a deep loss to all her family and friends.
Penelope will forever be cherished by: a loving son, Durrell (Franceska) Briskey; of West Palm Beach, FL; two grandsons, (who she loved to the moon and back) Trevian and Tayegan Briskey, both of West Palm Beach, FL; six sisters, Pauline, Pasty Ann, Tammy, Deidra, Mary and Shaun; three brothers, John, William and Henry; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
