Samuel Eugene Moore, Jr.

Samuel E. Moore, Jr., lovingly called "Lil Sammy" was born in Montgomery, Alabama on October 1, 1974. He was born through the loving union of Samuel E. Moore, Sr and Emma J. Moore. He graduated from Prattville High School in Prattville, Alabama. He attended Knoxville College-Morristown Campus in Morristown, Tennessee.  

Samuel was known for his kind demeanor and gigantic smile. His kindness shined brightly on all who came to know him.

He was a member of Pilgrim Rock Missionary Baptist Church. Samuel was preceded in death by his beloved father, Samuel E. Moore, Sr. and devoted grandmother, Sallie Ann DeRamus-Moore.

Samuel departed this earthly life on Monday, June 20, 2022. Cherishing his memories include his mother, Emma J. Moore; brother, Nicholas Moore; grandmother, Mattie Biddings; uncles, Roscoe Moore, Tommy Gibbons, Reginald (Phyllis) Gibbons, Henry (Ola) Gibbons and Clifton (Jackie) Gibbons; aunts, Earline (Willie) Simmons, Pearlie (Lawrence) Floyd, Patricia Walker, Nancy Moore, Charlotte Joseph, and Mildred Goodson; great aunts, Willie Pearl DeRamus, Lorene Gibbons, Ella Smith, and Sadie Russelll; devoted cousins and friends.

His mother would like to extend a special recognition to his aunts, Patricia, Nancy, and Mildred, who loved him dearly and treated him as their own. Samuel also created lasting memories with his cousins who he loved dearly: Rona, Bacarah, Jammi, Tyniaqua, "Tony", Brad, Briana and Nickelle.
