Mrs. Sarah Ann Brown was born on January 10, 1936, in Elmore, AL to the late Cleveland and Annie B. Brown.
She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Sarah Dedicated over 30 years in home healthcare. She enjoyed cooking soul food and baking for her family. She enjoyed babysitting, as well as helping raise grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Matthew Brown Sr.; Two daughters, Faith Brown-Alexander and Annie Brown; Eight brothers and seven sisters; Two grandson, Tyrone Duncan and Rickey Jackson; a granddaughter, Laneesha Brown; and a special friend, Charlie Johnston.
She leaves to cherish her memories four caring daughters, Mary McGhee, Sabrina (David) Alexander, both of Coosada, AL; Darlene Brown, Seattle, WA and Santana Brown, of Millbrook, AL; One stepdaughter, Natasha (Frank) Sullen; Three sons, Wilbert (Corinthian) Brown, Matthew Brown Jr., all of Millbrook, AL; Bryon (Adrienne) Brown,
Wetumpka, AL; twenty Grandchildren; thirty Great Grandchildren; five Great-Great Grandchildren; One sister, Geradine Hogan, Elmore, AL; One sister-in-law, Emma Lee Franklin, Coosada, AL; Two brother-in-law Robert (Alice) Brown and Jimmy Smoke, both of Millbrook, AL; A special nephew, Chris Brown Elmore, AL; and a special niece, Emma Smith, of Atlanta, GA; A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
