On September 14, 1970, Georgia Fenderson and Freeman Matthews welcomed Tammie Ann Johnson McCall into the world. She was the younger of two children and spent her youth in Autaugaville, AL.
Tammie accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Father Son Holy Ghost in Prattville, AL where baptized by Minister Morgan.
Tammie was formerly married to Rufus McCall, Sr. with whom she reared five loving children. She had a love of cooking for her family and bringing everyone together.
Tammie dedicated over 30 years of her life to the medical profession. She taught and mentored countless students and peers, instilling passion and commitment with every word she spoke. She shared her loveable and nurturing spirit every step of the way and many students became like family.
She is preceded in death be her father Freeman Matthews.
Chersishing her memory, she leaves behind her beloved mother: Georgia Fenderson; One loving brother: Derrick Johnson (Latisha Johnson); Four sons: Deandrea Henderson, Rufus McCall, Jr.,jaDonnavon McCall, and Estaffon McCall; One daughter: Brittany Knight; Five Goddaughters: Aniya Norman, Ashley Robinson, Brittney Yelder, Shannon Hinson, and Alicia Dixon, Thirteen grandchildren: A' Kela Purnell, Javon McCall, Ja'Kyla Henderson, Mackenzie Carrington, Kylus McCall, Serenity Knight, Amari Henderson, Rufus McCall III, Jai' Marie McCall, Kairo McCall, Jadon McCall and Messiah Knight.
Tammie will be missed by her nieces, nephews, an numerous others whose lives she touched
