Terrence Ivey Obituary

Mr. Terrence Marquise Ivey, was born May 18, 1987 to Patricia Zeigler-Gilder and Richard Ivey, in Montgomery, AL.

Terrence confessed to Christ at an early age and joined New Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Ramer, AL. Terrence would later join Goodship Missionary Baptist Church in Millbrook, AL under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Derwin V. Perry.

He was affectionately known to his family, close friends and co-workers as Bud, Tee/T and Giggles. Terrence was known for his humor, his infectious smile and giggles, and most of all being a provider and loving father to his five children, wife, and spending quality time with his family and friends. Whenever there was music and a good time, he would show out in many of his dance moves.

He met the love of his life, the former Fernecia Smith; after a year of dating, he knew he wanted her to stand beside him forever and the two became one on January 27, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ozell and Mary Zeigler; paternal grandparents, Dixie Ivey and Sentell McCollough; one uncle, James 'Woody' Walton.

Suddenly, Terrence departed his life here on earth, Monday, February 21, 2022 at Tallassee Community Hospital.

Terrence leaves to cherish his memories forever: a very devoted and caring wife, Fernecia Ivey,
