Tony Davis, IV

Mr. Tony Davis IV was born February 3, 1959 , the fifth child to the late Mr. Tony Davis Jr. and Mrs. Nelma Louise Houser Davis.

Mr. Davis gave his life to Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church, Autaugaville, AL.  Tony was a devoted and active member for years.  He was one of the founding members of the Spiritual Echoes as the lead guitarist.

Tony Davis graduated with the Autaugaville High School Class of 1977.  During high school, Tony was heavily involved in many activities:  Drum Major of the Marching Eagles, Editor of the yearbook and President of the SGA.  He attended Alabama State University.  Tony was a past Eastern Star Matron and member of the Autaugaville Prince Hall #960.  He was a proud Veteran-US Airforce with four years of service; a Correctional Officer for Autauga County Jail / Realtor / Various other job opportunities.

Three children: Sharonda Lashaye Davis (Myron) Hall, Demarius Cordell Davis, and Ebony Spears; seven grands: Morgan, Ta'Maiya, A.J., Caden, Madisyn, Brendan, and Maison; two brothers: Lorenza (Chris) Davis and Ellie L. Davis; three sisters: Carolyn (Willie) Morrast, Linda (Eddie) Love, Janice (the late Robert) Cameron and Anita Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to the family members listed, Tony leaves an extended family of the A.H.S. Class of 1977, many relatives, friends and neighbors.  He was a stranger to no one.

Preceded him in death are his parents: Tony & Nelma L. Davis III; his grandparents: Tony & Hattie Virginia (Hall) Davis Jr. and Ellie Louis & Inez (Hall) Houser; and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.
