Valeria Robinson Obituary

Valerie Renee Robinson was born on February 1st, 1963 in Montgomery, AL to Ms. Hattie Pearl Robinson and Mr. James Williams.  "Valerie",  she was affectionately known, was sweet and nurturing caregiver.  She confessed her faith in Jesus Christ at a young age and begin serving at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Prattville, AL under the leadership of Rev. W. L. Marvin.  She served faithfully as the President of the Nurses Guild under Rev. T. L. Goodwin, Jr. and as a member of the Kitchen Committee.  She remained faithful under the leadership of Rev. Robert King until her call to rest.

Valerie lived her life as a nurturing nurse and Home Health Caregiver.  She was the "Family Doctor".  Anytime there was an illness in the family, Valerie could be called to help find a swift cure and medical care.  She was known as the "cake Queen" by many because no matter what season it was, any time you visited Valerie's home, there were at least three cake choices waiting for you to indulge in a slice.  She was one of the proudest Eastern Stars there was.  She was the Assistant Matron of the Bright Beulah Chapter #18.

On Friday, January 15th, 2021, God looked down and saw this time, Valerie needed to be healed.  He saw it fitting to call her spirit to rest with her Grandparents, Julius & Exie Lee Robinson; Grandmother Hattie Robinson; Uncles, Edward Steve Robinson, John Adam Robinson, Julius Robinson, Jr. and Dr. R.L. Robinson; Aunts, Jessie Mae Pickett, Doris Johnson, Dorothy Cade, Maquerite Williams, Jessie Pearl Jenkins, and Willie Mae Robinson.  Valerie's spirit was ready to rest with her beloved sister-in-law, Sarah Robinson and her favorite niece, Ashley Marie Mitchell.

Valerie leaves the memory of her sweet life to be cherished forever by a plethora of family, friends, and loved ones, including her mother, Hattie Pearl Hardy; father, James Williams; siblings, LaVaughn (Sarah-Deceased) Robinson, Jeffery Robinson, Beulah Leon, Carolyn (Jack) Norman, Andrea (AL) Mitchell, and Jay (Jennifer) Hardy; Aunt, Kathleen (Earl) Jordan; nephews, Corey (Keosha) Robinson, Courtney (Chinetta) Robinson, Zavion Harris; niece, Jhanda Hardy; host of great nephews and nieces; loyal friends/sisters, Josephine Moore, LeTonya Sullivan, and Betty Vincent; a Goddaughter, Kaylah Brown; a special cousin, Jackie Ray, and many other cousins, relatives, and friends.
