Walker Lee Kirksey, Jr. was born January 22, 1956 to Walker Lee Kirksey, Sr. and Mary Frances Kirksey.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Hattie Ledbetter, George Ledbetter, Bobby Kirksey, Virginia Kirksey, and Samuel Marshall.
On July 26, 2021 God dispatched his angels to bring home Walker’s brother Donnell Kirksey two days after he called him home to live with the Lord.
Walker attended school at North Highland and Autauga County School Systems. He was employed at various jobs doing concrete work.
Walker was a very carefree spirit person, he never met a stranger, he was kind and good to everyone he met. He was a man who lived a very happy and fruitful lifestyle. He was loved by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. One of his favorite past times was singing and listening to the blues. He was known for his humor, jokes, and being a comedian.
Walker leaves to cherish his legacy and memory to: four brothers: Darrell (Lizer) Kirksey of Prattville, Alabama; Carl (Patricia) Kirksey of Headland, Alabama; Vernon Kirksey of Wetumpka, Alabama; Steven “Chris” Kirksey of Prattville, Alabama; four sisters: Rosetta Austin of Prattville, Alabama; Dorothy (Timothy) Lemons of Huntsville, Alabama; Evelyn Alvies of Prattville, Alabama and Loretta (Jerry) Jackson of Wetumpka, Alabama; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
