Mrs. Barbara Ann Howard age 64 a resident of the Shiloh Community Autaugaville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Jackson Hospital.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11am from Shiloh Missionary Baptist  Church, 230 County Road 45 North Autaugaville, Alabama with Rev. Nathaniel Brown, Pastor officiating.  Burial to follow at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

                                                                                                       The Obituary

It is said that through the door of death, there is everlasting darkness, but with God the door of death is the way to everlasting life.  Afew days ago, our beloved Barbara Howard, stepped beyond the darkness into the marvelous light.

The late Barbara Ann Howard was born on June 6, 1954 to the late Susie Mae Tyus and the late Julius Robinson.  She was preceded in death by her husband the late Leon Howard Sr.  She was an active member of Shiloh Baptist Church, where she served faithfully as a member of the Usher Board and Choir member.  She worked for many years at Prattville Apparel and Kinedyne LLC of Prattville, AL.

She leaves to cherish her memories,stepmother Bernice Robinson, six children; Melvin Tyus, Detroit, MI, Jerry (Chris) Tyus, Leon(Cecil) Howard, Christine Howard, Tony Howard, Victoria (Anthony) Howard all of Prattville, AL.  Siblings; Willie Howard, Karl (Bonita) Tyus, Stanley Tyus, Teresa (Donnell) Motley, Valerie (Reginald) Moore, Cynthia (Robert) Wilson, Synetta Tyus, Rene Tyus, Susan (Timothy) Williams, Stacy (Michael) Blalock, Jennifer (Richard) Chappell, Linda (Scott) Davis, Haywood Robinson, Edward Charles (Karen) Robinson, Kenny Robinson, Normatine Averhart, Exie (Roderick) Rawlinson, Five sister-in-law's, and 5 brother-in-law's (29) Grandchildren, (4) Great Grandchildren, (3) Uncles, (7) Aunts, one as a devoted Aunt, like a mother; Annie B Tyus, Host of nieces and nephews.
