Mrs. Birdie Lee Harris McCrae (Puddin) age 75, a resident of Prattville, Alabama passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at her residence.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11am from Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist church, 501 Doster Road Prattville, Alabama with Rev. Robert King, Pastor and Rev. Melvin Hendricks, Pastor of First Union Missionary Baptist Church, Meridian, Mississippi officiating.  Burial to follow at Prattville Memory Gardens, 841 Fairview Ave Prattville, AL.



Birdie Lee McCrae was born to the late Elijah and Bertha Harris on April 17, 1943.  God saw she was getting tired, when a cure was not to be.  So, on June 11, 2018 He wrapped his arms around her and whispered, " Come to me".

Birdie was affectionately known as 'Puddin'.  Upon retirement from the Prattville Nursing Home, traveling and taking care of her grandchildren became her main focus.  She was a memberof Rising Star #8 of Mount Sinai.

Birdie leaves to cherish her precious memories a loving and caring husband, Arthur James McCrae, four children, Youralanda Mooreof Prattville, Alabama, Quintin (Cheryl) Moore of Elmore, Alabama, Dwayne (Elizabeth) Moore of Wetumpka, Alabama and Lasunta (Clinton) Robinson of Prattville, Alabama; ten grandchildren, Phillip (Nicole) Moore, Lakeshia Brown, Jaha Rome Harrison, Oksana Moore, Courtnee Moore, Kacey Robinson, Chloe Harrison, Jacob Wilson and Elorah Jackson all of Prattville, Alabama and two sisters, Dorothy Harris and Evelyn Coleman all of Prattville, Alabama; a devoted brother-in-law, Johnny and sister-in-law, Johnny and Mariah McCrae and a host of caring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
